The first day I turned my horse out in this blanket, she was bit by another horse and within 5 minutes there was a huge tear in the side of the blanket. So, dutifully, I removed the blanket, put her old blanket on and repaired the blanket by stitching the tear and covering the spot with duct tape. The next time I put it on her, within 24 hours there was another tear in a different spot on the same side as he first rip. I checked under the blanket, this time there was no bite mark. I again removed the blanket and stitched up the tear and covered it with duct tape.

Last night was the third time I arrived at the barn to find the blanket torn with stuffing hanging out. This time, it would appear she just rolled and it ripped. I have permanently removed this blanket and will not be putting it back on my horse. I have had this blanket for less than a month and it is completely trashed. I will not be purchasing from this manufacturer again.

I was very disappointed today when I took this blanket off my mare and she was wet in several places. It was only the second time I have used it and it didn't even rain, just got down to 10 degrees. When I felt on the inside seems I found several of them wet. There was no indication on the outside that there was a problem. So basically I wasted $60 and have gone back to my old blanket by Confidence (not longer available). Major bummer! I will try to use the straps/clips somewhere else. Don't waste you time and money on this product.
